After the release of Dumbo, Disney is preparing for two new and exciting adaptations to its animated clbadics – Guy Ritchie's current film Aladdin, followed by another program every 90 years: The Lion King. Jon Favreau directs this one, after working his magic on The jungle Book, and the approach here is similar. There are many visual signs and references to the beloved original, but it has a slightly more granular feel and really amazing images in computer graphics.

You probably know the story here – when Mufasa (a James Earl Jones back), King of Pride Rock, is killed on the legs of his brother Scar (Chiwetel Ejiofor), the youngster Simba, voiced by JD McCrary as a little and Donald Glover as a grown lion, flees the kingdom. At the age of his teenage, he befriends Timon and Pumbaa (Billy Eichner and Seth Rogen), his friends warthogs and warthogs, falls in love with Nala (Beyoncé) and returns to the charge of finding his big thing old rock. It's the circle of life, you know.

This trailer gives a first glimpse of Scar, Timon, Pumbaa and these dreaming hyenas, in a film that will surely attract the crowd throughout the kingdom (uni). The Lion King will reign in British cinemas on July 19th.
