Amissah Arthur Faceup Kwasi Amissah-Arthur, the late former Vice President

Independent presidential candidate in the 2016 election, Jacob Osei Yeboah, revealed that the ghost of former Vice President Kwasi Amissah-Arthur had recently been revealed to him and questioned him on Vice President Mahamudu Bawumia.

According to him, the ghost repeatedly asked him if Mr. Bawumia had finally been able to answer his 170 economic questions.

In 2017, the late former Vice President Kwesi Amissah-Arthur asked his successor, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, to recognize that the country's economy was struggling despite efforts to reorganize it.

He said that the economy under the new ruling Patriotic Party (NPP) was not better than under the previous government.

Mr. Amissah-Arthur then asked the current vice president to answer some 170 "economic questions" he asked him during the 2016 election campaign.

Mr. Bawumia addressed 170 "questions" to the then Vice President on the management of the economy by his government, which, he said, was built on "straws".

The questions ranged from receipts to expenses, but Mr. Amissah-Arthur, after indicating that he was ready to respond, was unable to answer the so-called questions directly.

The "170 questions" seemed to be more statements and complaints and therefore did not need an answer, said the then Vice President.

But nearly a year into opposition, the former vice president asked Dr. Bawumia to answer his own questions because he is a "great economist".

"Economic issues do not change over time [so] he can answer it, "said Amissah Arthur.

In an interview with host Akwasi Nsiah on Anopa Kasapa on Kasapa, Jacob Osei Yeboah told the late Veep Amissah-Arthur that he would not stay quiet until Veep Bawumia will not be able to respond to the 170 questions.

"Every day, the ghost of Amissah Arthur appears to me in my dream. He asked me to tell Bawumia to answer the 170 economic questions he had asked her in 2016 [Bawumia] is in power, otherwise he will not rest peacefully. "

Jacob Osei Yeboah accused the Akufo Addo government of mismanaging the economy since taking office in 2017, raising Ghana's debt level from 80 billion to 200 billion in just two years.
