The government denies extending the mandate of the standardization committee

The Standards Commission, appointed by FIFA in consultation with the government to help restructure football in the country, has a mandate which ends on 31 December.st March 2019.

It was reported, however, that the government had approved a request from the committee for an extension of mandate, with its mandate ending next month.

A statement signed by communications advisor Ahmed Osumanu Halid reads as follows: & # 39; & # 39; The standardization committee has not sent any proposal to the presidency for an extension of its mandate.
