The government is committed to education and will continue to build more infrastructure and renovate existing infrastructure, "said Ernest Kwofie, Executive Director of the Municipality of Jomoro.

Mr. Kwofie recalled during the ceremony of handing over a refurbished clbad block of six units with ancillary facilities at Ehoaka M / A Elementary School in the region.

The renovated building, which included a store, a common room for staff, a director's office and a place of convenience, became necessary following the decay of the old structure, which has become a dead trap since 2013.

He advised parents to ensure that children are enrolled in school and controlled to become responsible adults and badume leadership in the future.

The MCE has appealed to the population for it to join the free high school program, to ensure that students reach secondary education.

At the same time, Mr. Kwofie donated 69 school uniforms to Ehoaka Junior High School and pledged to donate bulbs from the street to the school to keep students safe during evening clbades.

He promised to give furniture to all schools in the municipality, adding that "in the last 10 years, no school in the area had received furniture.

The municipal director of education, Mr. George Effah, congratulated the MCE for its contribution to the development of education in the region and advised parents to invest in their children's education.

The school principal, Mr. Dominic K. Emu, urged teachers to teach students the knowledge they need, improve their development and be able to compete in the world of work.

The secretary of the Alumni Association of both schools, Mr Eric Nwiah, noted that the quality of education was incumbent on both teachers and parents, and asked teachers to make sure that the quality of education was the responsibility of both teachers and parents. be disciplined and discharge their mandate prudently.
