Police caught a groom who was still in a tuxedo for allegedly shooting his best friend for sleeping with his new wife.

According to reports, the groom, Devin Jose Jones, had suspicions about the man and his wife, but had no evidence to pin them down until his worst fears were confirmed.
WVUE reports that Devin Jose Jones was in a car with his new wife and a male friend when they got stuck in traffic.
St. John Parish Sheriff Mike Tregre said Jones accused his new wife of having an affair with the friend who was traveling with them.
Still in a tuxedo, Jones got out of the car and shot the man in the leg. Then he shot at another car that was also stuck in traffic, hitting a person in the hand.
Jones’ wife stopped an ambulance and was able to take shelter inside.
Jones was arrested on charges of attempted first degree murder, aggravated second degree assault and battery, and two counts of aggravated criminal damage to property, jail records show.
