develop economic activities and make the district one of the main tourist centers
destinations in the world, "he said.

Akwamu Traditional Area, in its speech, praised the efforts of the organizers for
a major step in the realization of the festival.

District a place to be in August.

"I urge all natives to be part of the
festival and make it a success because it will change the fortune of the
district, "he said.

Odeneho lamented the underutilization of
Lake Volta and its surroundings, after claiming that the lake did not serve
but initiatives like this, would make the lake very
useful.

The Asuogyaman District Assembly Executive mentioned the importance of tourism
played in the growth of the region, but stressed the need to further explore the
opportunities available in the region.

"We know that tourism is one of the economic factors
drivers in the area, but we have not been able to discover the full potential of
these tourist sites. So we are on the verge of advancing tourism in the region and
with such festivals, we could have a significant impact in the field of
tourism, "he said.
