ROME: Italian coach Roberto Mancini has described as intolerable the racist abuse suffered by Juventus striker Moise Kean in the Serie A match against Cagliari. It was time to put an end to such incidents.
Kean, who had been mocked throughout the match, was in front of the Cagliari fans and opened his arms after scoring Juve's second goal in a 2-0 win on Tuesday.
In response, supporters of Cagliari made the noise described in Italy as "buu" and considered a racist insult.
"The behavior towards Kean was intolerable, but it happens often," said Mancini at an event in Rome. "The racist" buu "must be stigmatized, it can not continue, you have to act and be hard.
"The problems are those related to racism and that's where you have to start doing something."
