Recently, Apple blogger John Gruber blamed former Apple designer Jony Ive for Macbook Pro keyboard problems. It is the obsession with thin devices for Ives that led to poorly designed keyboards.
"Current Macbooks are bad computers, but good devices," writes Gruber. I can not say enough: my Macbook Pro from 2016 is more beautiful to look at than to use.
Nice and well that Apple laptops are powerful and beautifully designed and that MacOS is an excellent operating system. Four features, however, make a Macbook at the bottom of my wish list. Three of them are due to the slim design.
