EastEnders' star, June Brown, confided that she feared the technology and feared that "killer robots" would end the human race.
The 92-year-old, who plays Dot Cotton on Albert Square, admitted that she was not adopting modern technology and was fearing a time when artificial intelligence was taking over.
Even though the use of a smartphone can confuse a lot of people, June fears that robots will become aids and companions, before we embark on a sci-fi nightmare.
Speaking of a shocking scenario in which "killer robots" will stand up against the human race, June shared her thoughts on how all this would unfold.
June told the Daily Star: "Imagine a robot in your living room.
"I do not suppose it could develop a brain, but it might decide to put a knife on you!
"I would not trust him."
June went on to say where it might end up: "I do not know what's going to happen – maybe the end of the world, it's gay!"
In the hope of avoiding being a victim of a corrupted technology, June revealed that she was making sure to have a minimum of contact with everything that is "more advanced than". ################################################################################ 39, a basic mobile phone ".
June admitted, "I am illiterate in technology. I do not care about computers, even if I have an electronic reader.
"I can play CDs and use a regular cell phone.
"But with cell phones now, all these fun things happen when I just want to make calls.
"Then there is a talking text, like" C U 2moro "It's like hieroglyphs."
It's probably not worth mentioning to June her future in which driverless cars are a possibility, as this might indicate that the revolution has begun.
