Liverpool defender Trent Alexander-Arnold and midfielder Georginio Wijnaldum should miss the Crystal Palace visit.
Both men have suffered knee injuries of different gravity and, although Jurgen Klopp insists that they will be evaluated "day-to-day", they are unlikely to be taken into account.
Midfielder Adam Lallana is back in training after a muscle injury, but central defender Dejan Lovren (hamstring) will not be available until the end of the month.
Goalkeeper Julian Speroni will play for the Palace in Liverpool for his first appearance since December 2017.
The 39-year-old is the oldest player in the Premier League and will be promoted after Vicente Guaita was injured in the calf and Wayne Hennessey was injured in a muscle of the loss to Watford last week.
Christian Benteke is pushing to start for Palace after returning from injury as a substitute in the 2-1 home defeat.
Liverpool team: Speroni, Wan-Bissaka, Sakho, Kelly, Van Aanholt, Dann, Riedewald, Townsend, Kouyate, McArthur, Meyer, Milivojevic, Schlupp, Benteke, Ayew, Kaikai, Wickham.
