Mauro Icardi was again excluded from the Inter Milan team for his clash against Sampdoria on Sunday.
The Argentinian striker was stripped of Inter's captaincy this week in the midst of a contractual dispute.
He was excluded from the team for the Europa League victory over Rapid Vienna and was again missed for the return to the national game.
Icardi watched from the stands of San Siro alongside his wife Wanda Nara, amid new speculation about his future.
Icardi has already been tied to Real Madrid and Chelsea, but Manchester United are now in the mix.
Mirror Sport has revealed exclusively that Icardi and Paulo Dybala are on United's radar this summer while they plan to move on Romelu Lukaku.
The two Argentine strikers are to take with their respective managers Mbadimilano Allegri and Luciano Spalletti.
Although United has not yet decided who will definitely replace the fired Jose Mourinho, he has not stopped them from planning their transfer in the summer.
It remains to be seen who will be in charge – and for what purpose the striker of Serie A United will look – but Icardi is certainly on the wish list of some supporters.
United is also ready to face the summer with Joao Felix, a teenager with a pbadion for Benfica, after having compiled numerous reports on a player considered a long-term substitute for Juan Mata.
