David Bowie's 1976 film The man who fell on Earth is being adapted for a new television series.
The clbadic science fiction film, based on Walter Tevis's 1963 novel of the same name, was one of Bowie's most memorable roles as Thomas Jerome Newton – an alien posing as a human in order to save his planet.
