In addition, a 9-year-old girl from the Rivne area died from measles complications, making her the eleventh death in 2019.

In Lviv, a decrease in the number of cases in recent weeks, on the order of 10% per week since February, for the first time propelled the Oblast to the top of the most affected regions.

In the Vinnitsa region, for the eleventh week, almost half as many new cases of measles were recorded as last week.

Immunization measures were intensified this year in both areas.
