The Middle Belt Development Authority inspects and commissions projects in the Bono region

The Managing Director of the Middle Belt Development Authority, Mr. Joe Danquah, has commissioned and inspected projects in the municipality of Wenchi and the northern district of Jaman.

The Authority built a six-unit classroom block with an office, a common staff room, and a store for the Sampa Presbyterian Primary School.

The school really suffered over the years until MBDA came up with this project. The teachers and students were very happy and praised the Authority for its dedication to improving education in the Middle Belt Development Zone.

To ensure the improvement of health care services in the area through the use of 1 million dollars for 1 constituency fund, the Authority has built a state-of-the-art health center with two apartments for staff accommodation, OPD , consultation room, room for women, room for men, reward for pregnant women and a mechanized drilling in Asiri. Through the implementation of the Poverty Eradication Infrastructure Program.

The Authority built 62 open market sheds with a subordinate facility to improve the business activities of buyers and sellers in the community of Goka and its surroundings.

Speaking to the media, Joe Danquah said, “President Akufo-Addo is to be commended for initiating a million dollar per constituency policy. It is clear that Ghanaians have really benefited from the initiative and now the people of these communities are enjoying theirs today. The Authority will continue to do what will benefit you. ”

Also, the inhabitants of Tromeso who languish in distress for lack of a place of convenience, but MBDA has built for them a WC WC of 16 places with a mechanized drilling. Elders and residents of the community of Tromeso congratulated the Hon. Joe Danquah and the Authority for giving them these modern toilets.

The Authority has also ordered a Class Block No.3 in the town of Abotareye and Branam, a Class Block No.6 at the AmponsaKrom Methodist School with offices, stores and a common room for staff in the Wenchi district.

Students and teachers in these communities lived and studied in dilapidated structures as classrooms before these new buildings were constructed by the Middle Belt Development Authority.

Many other projects have been inspected by the Authority in Ponkor, where the CHIP complex is under construction, among others.
