Cadet's mother urged her fans not to keep "accumulated anger" in them as a tribute to her life.
Fans gathered in Hyde Park in central London to launch balloons to celebrate Sunday's 28-year-old.
The rapper was the pbadenger of a taxi when he died in a car crash Saturday morning.
Her mother said that her son's life was "not futile" and that she was proud to have been able to influence as many people in achieving their goals.
Sending to the crowd, she said, "I'm so proud that his music has touched you in any way, enough for you to go out.
"It makes me so happy."
The South London rapper, whose real name is Blaine Cameron Johnson, was about to go to a concert at Keele University Staffordshire when he died.
His mother said that her son was able to touch people's lives and "makes you do and do whatever you want".
She added, "I need you, the men, to express yourself, express your feelings, if it's not your mothers, someone."
"Do not keep the repressed anger in you, it is not good, you become angry and anger portrays the things of others, let her go, even if she is in tears or whatever.
"I want peace and harmony."
Cadet cousin Krept – rap duo Krept and Konan – also spoke at the memorial and urged fans to solve their problems with their loved ones.
He and Cadet were scrambled when they were younger but had made up and had recently worked together.
"I am so happy that he and he have been able to resolve our situation before that happens," he said.
"If I did not do it, it would have eaten me all my life."
The kindness of the cadets has been evoked by many of his friends.
In an Instagram tribute, Stormzy wrote, "This man is breathing in. I can not even explain how pure you are, look what you mean for everyone.
"Nobody will ever forget big brother, words can not do anything right now."
Cadet's latest single Advice, with Deno Driz, was released in October and peaking at 27th in the UK.
He was scheduled to perform at the Wireless Festival this summer and organizers say his place will now include a tribute to his life.
