A film adaptation of the popular AMC series "Breaking Bad" was finally announced. According to a recent report by The New York Times, the film titled El Camino: A bad movie– is scheduled for October 11 on Netflix and will feature Aaron Paul resuming his role as Jesse Pinkman. Netflix shared the first clip of the film with Charles Baker as Skinny Pete. Look at this below.
El Camino was written and directed by the creator of "Breaking Bad", Vince Gilligan. According to TimeNetflix is planning an official announcement on Monday, August 26th. The film would be aired on AMC after its initial release on Netflix, although the release dates have not yet been announced. While Paul has been confirmed for the film, it is not certain that Bryan Cranston will come back as Walter White, or Bob Odenkirk as Saul Goodman.
In a brief statement quoted by the Time, Netflix proposed the following synopsis: El Camino"After his dramatic escape from captivity, Jesse has to face his past to forge a kind of future."
Last year, Music On Vinyl / At The Movies and Sony Pictures Television released a 10th anniversary "Breaking Bad" vinyl box set featuring music by Badfinger, Ray Fever, Calexico, America, Knife Party, and more.
Breaking Bad lasted five seasons (from 2008 to 2013) and followed the feats of Walter White (Cranston), a high school chemistry professor, who turns to making and selling methamphetamine for financial stability after lung cancer diagnosis.
