Today, a film about the murderous Camp Fire is in preparation. "The Infiltrators" will open the Los Angeles International Latin American Film Festival and former filmmaker Rogers and Cowan Tom Tardio will conduct the Napa Valley Film Festival.

Focus Features produces the survival story film "Paradise", based on the events of the terrible camp fire of 2018.
The fire killed 85 people and destroyed the small town of Paradise, California. Matthew Heineman, Oscar nominee for "Cartel Land", is expected to direct and write the screenplay. Temple Hill will produce with Heineman.
The story will focus on Heather Roebuck, who delivered by caesarean section a few minutes before the local hospital was engulfed by the flames. Focus opted for the right to life of Roebuck, his fiancé and their children, as well as Butte County emergency medical workers Sean Abrams, Mike Castro, Shannon Molarius and Robin Cranston – who eventually became impromptu firefighters while the group was prisoner of fire.

FILM FESTIVALS
The Los Angeles International Los Angeles Film Festival has scheduled "The Infiltrators" as an opening film on July 31st in Chinese TCL theaters in Hollywood.
Directed and produced by Alex Rivera and Cristina Ibarra, "The Infiltrators" focuses on a small group of undocumented immigrant youth embarking on a high-risk mission in the US for-profit detention system to free people. The film won the audience award for the next section and the prize for the next innovator at Sundance earlier this year.

The Napa Valley Film Festival hired former Rogers and Cowan CEO Tom Tardio as the new President and CEO.
Tardio badumes the role immediately and is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the annual film festival, including managing current staff, fundraising and developing new and existing programs. Tardio left Rogers and Cowan in 2015 and was recently CEO of Socialtext, a communications software provider.
Cinema Napa Valley, the non-profit organization that oversees the festival, announced that four new members would join the board of directors: educator and producer Robert Bbadett, marketing manager Zoë Fairbourn, producer and manager Geyer Kosinski and venture capital and technology manager Daniel Schryer.
The 9th edition of the Napa Valley Film Festival will be held on November 13 and will last five days.
