Stephen Atubiga, former NDC flag bearer
The former presidential candidate of the National Democratic Congress, the largest opposition party, Stephen Atubiga, said Ghana's political Messiah was John Mahama.
In an article seen by Mr. Stephen Atubiga's MyNewsGh.com, he said the name of John Dramani Mahama is a powerful name that can work wonders.
"The name JDM, alone in Ghana, today gives to the sick, healers, the poor, a youth / needy hope."
"It has been said that married couples or their partners are desperately waiting for JDM's leadership. The only name JDM is healing the depressions due to the difficulties encountered in Ghana.
"Today, only the name of JDM in Ghana is a simulant or (aphrodisiac) for a partner. Due to difficulties and depression. Others worship JDM as (God) to come and save Ghana. I will not be surprised to wake up one morning to see JDM healing water, JDM feed water, pastor JDM lotions / ointments. The whole country is in depression and in decline. JDM is the right leader for NDC. I have supported JDM in the interest of mother Ghana. Vote JDM, together JDM will be president again. I love you all. Stephen Atubiga.
Stephen Atubiga was fighting over John Mahama and 6 other people for the leadership of the NDC, but had retired at the last minute to support Mr. Mahama.
Stephen Atubiga, in his letter of withdrawal to the National Executive Committee (NEC) of the NDC, explained as follows:
"After submitting to advice, prayers and instructions, I want to withdraw from the race at the NDC before the general elections of 2020".
"After an unfailing deliberation and consultation with the beloved ones and my team, I decided to support me at the height of His Excellency John Dramani Mahama."
"I personally want to thank my brother Haruna Iddrisu for his wise counsel and fraternal guidance. My gratitude to the party and the elders for their intervention and the roles they have badumed in the upcoming elections of the big CDN, "he added.
"During a long discussion with His Excellency John Mahama, I can conclude that his vision corresponds to mine. He badured me of advancing the party, building party offices in every constituency, creating jobs, empowering youth, and ensuring youth capacity building. He explained.
Since his withdrawal, Mr. Atubiga has asked for votes for Mr. Mahama. MyNewsGh.com will keep our readers informed.
