The National Academy of Engineering (NAE) has elected 86 new members and 18 foreign members, announced today the president of the NAE, C. D. (Dan) Mote, son.

This brings the total number of US members to 2,297 and the number of foreign members to 272.

The election at the National Academy of Engineering is one of the highest professional honors bestowed on an engineer.
