Apple's new iOS 5 Weather app now provides default local weather for your current location. Therefore, you will always have a "you are here" weather report every time you open the app.
You will know that you are viewing your local weather when you view the page of the app that displays the compbad arrow as shown in the picture above.
If you touch the screen, you will see the weather hour by hour for your location or other positions that you have configured in the Weather application settings.
