The king is back.
Disney has left its official trailer for the live-action remake The Lion King Wednesday and gave fans their first look at many of the iconic characters in the film.
The new teaser begins when Simba and Nala meet up with Scar and her pack of hyenas, giving Disney lovers a glimpse of the famous villain. The preview also shows other clbadic scenes, including Mufasa showing his kingdom to Simba, Simba getting caught in the rout, Timon and Pumbaa showing him the true meaning of "hakuna matata". Of course, the trailer also contains some iconic music.
The film certainly includes a cast of stars, including Donald Glover (Simba) Beyonce (Nala) Billy Eichner (Drawbar) Seth Rogen (Pumbaa) John Oliver (Zazu) James Earl Jones (Mufasa) and Chiwetel Ejiofor (Scar).
The film enters theaters on July 19th.
