Maurizio Sarri is always ready for a Chelsea outing this summer, but the situation is starting to fall behind.
All this is very familiar for Blues fans who have only to look back a year to see the mbadive mistake made by the Blues.
In the summer of 2018, the Blues were eager to get rid of Antonio Conte, while the Italian had enjoyed two years of success in West London.
After winning the Premier League in its first season, and then the FA Cup in the next campaign, it was still not enough, as the frictions behind the scenes prompted the board to move on.
The jury drew up a shortlist with the best candidates, but the Blues had their eyes turned towards Sarri and wished to take the initiative to have him leave Napoli.
However, negotiations over the purchase of his contract dragged on all summer, which meant that things were pushed back further and further.
It was a strange summer, the president of Naples, Aurelio De Laurentiis, hiring Carlo Ancelotti as new chef, even though it had not been confirmed that Sarri was going to leave.
Negotiations with De Laurentiis are still known to be difficult, while Marina Granovskaia, director of Chelsea, is seeking the best deal for Chelsea.
It's more than fair with clubs not looking to stay in play, but last summer it had a huge impact on football.
The negotiations lasted so long that Conte even took a week of preparatory training before being finally sacked and replaced by Sarri.

The new Italian club had only two days of training before embarking on the unveiling press conference before flying to Australia for his first friendly match.
This summer, Granovskaia asks Juventus to be compensated if it plans to move Sarri away from Stamford Bridge.
It will cost between 5 and 6 million pounds to buy it from his current contract with the Blues, a contract that has two more years to run.
But if negotiations continue, it means that next season's plans are still suspended, an error that was also made last summer.
Granovskaia is doing its job to get the best deal for the Blues financially, but they can not afford to let it last much longer.
