The two lanes on the left of Interstate 880 going north will also be closed tonight from 23:59 until 5 o'clock The northbound lane closures will extend just south of the Hwy 92 interchange to north of A Street.
The closing schedule is as follows:
- Sunday night, March 17 from 11:59 p.m. until that Monday morning, March 18 at 4 o'clock in the morning;
- Monday evening, March 18 from 11:59 p.m. until that Tuesday morning, March 19th at 4 o'clock in the morning;
- Tuesday evening, March 19 from 11:59 p.m. until that Wednesday morning, March 20th at 4 o'clock in the morning;
- Wednesday evening, March 20th of 11:59 p.m. until that Thursday Morning, March 21st at 4 o'clock in the morning
- Sunday night March 24 from 11:59 p.m. until that Monday morning, March 25 at 4 o'clock in the morning;
- Monday evening March 25th 11:59 p.m. until that Tuesday morning, March 26 at 4 o'clock in the morning; and
- Tuesday evening March 26 of 11:59 p.m. until that Wednesday morning, March 27 at 4 o'clock in the morning.
Pre-warning signs, bypbad signs and construction team signalers will be in place and California A road patrol will be on site at the closure of these highways. This work depends on the weather conditions and can be reprogrammed if necessary.
Drivers are advised to wait for delays and allow extra time to travel south on the I-880 corridor. Please drive carefully through the construction area, leave a safe distance between your vehicle and the vehicle ahead, and slow down for the cone area.
