Tottenham Hotspur travels to the Far East this summer and it looks like his first opponent has just been revealed.
The Spurs have confirmed that in July they will return to Singapore for the first time since 1995 and travel to Shanghai for the first time.
The club will also participate in the centenary celebrations of its global partner, AIA, whose roots go back to Shanghai in 1919.
football.londres has seen what appears to be AIA promotional material as the "main sponsor" of the 2019 International Champions Cup in Singapore.
The material seems to suggest that Tottenham will face Serie A giant Juventus at the International Champion's Cup on Sunday (July 21st).
Mauricio Pochettino's men left the Champions League last season against Juventus last season in the last 16 games and could potentially play against the Italian giants in the semi-finals this year if Tottenham manages to defeat Manchester City next month .
The Spurs will then travel to Shanghai where they will also play a match.
Tottenham had already been to mainland China in 2009, during his participation in the Barclays Asia Trophy in Beijing. They also traveled to Hong Kong in 2017 to participate in a post-season friendly against SC Kitchee.
