Marek Hamsik has finally ended his long badociation with Naples to seal a transfer to Dalian Yifang, the Chinese Super League.

The Slovak left Brescia for Stadio San Paolo in 2007 and has played a major role in the club's progress over the last few seasons.

Already a key member of the Napoli team before the arrival of Maurizio Sarri in 2015, the midfielder hailed the Chelsea boss for pushing his game to a new level during their stay in Naples.

Stating that he had improved technically and tactically during his three seasons under the age of 60, many thought that Hamsik would be the ideal player to complete the Chelsea midfielder alongside Jorginho and N & R Golo Kante.

Ross Barkley, Mateo Kovacic and Ruben Loftus-Cheek all made a rotation in the last spot in the middle of the park this season, but none of them have made that position.

Joined Sarri's Napoli group with his midfield pbades to support the sideline, he would also retire to help Jorginho and Allan.

One thing for sure is that the move to Stamford Bridge to join Sarri will not happen anymore as it has signed for Dalian Yifang.

It was clearly an emotional gesture for the player and he paid a sincere tribute to the supporters of Napoli after raising the curtain on his 12 years in the Italian city.

"I have to apologize to all the fans of Azzurri," he wrote on Instagram.

"I wanted, I hoped, and I dreamed to say goodbye to you." A big round of the track with applause.

"You have always supported and loved me unconditionally, in the most difficult and beautiful times: I will always be grateful to you.

"I tattooed Naples on my skin, as well as our first victory at Coppa Italia after 25. It's impossible to forget this game.

"It's impossible to forget that moment when I broke Bruscolotti's record or broke the Azzurri record set by the football god himself, Diego Armando Maradona.

"It makes me extremely proud Here in Naples, my three children were born, Neapolitans in every sense.

"I would like to thank everyone: the president who has given me the opportunity to stay here for 12 years and accept my willingness to try a new experience; all the coaches who m & rsquo; Have formed, to whom I owe my growth as a player and a man; all the medical and technical staff and all the other employees of SSC Napoli, my friends who will miss me, but I know that they will never leave me because they are part of my family.

"As soon as it's possible, I hope you'll do a final lap in San Paolo to dedicate the shipment you deserve.

"I love you all and I will love this city forever.Thank you from my heart to all and wish all my teammates happiness for the rest of the season: I hope you can win the Europa League "
