Marek Hamsik has finally ended his long badociation with Naples to seal a transfer to Dalian Yifang, the Chinese Super League.
The Slovak left Brescia for Stadio San Paolo in 2007 and has played a major role in the club's progress over the last few seasons.
Already a key member of the Napoli team before the arrival of Maurizio Sarri in 2015, the midfielder hailed the Chelsea boss for pushing his game to a new level during their stay in Naples.
Stating that he had improved technically and tactically during his three seasons under the age of 60, many thought that Hamsik would be the ideal player to complete the Chelsea midfielder alongside Jorginho and N & R Golo Kante.
Ross Barkley, Mateo Kovacic and Ruben Loftus-Cheek all made a rotation in the last spot in the middle of the park this season, but none of them have made that position.
Joined Sarri's Napoli group with his midfield pbades to support the sideline, he would also retire to help Jorginho and Allan.
One thing for sure is that the move to Stamford Bridge to join Sarri will not happen anymore as it has signed for Dalian Yifang.
It was clearly an emotional gesture for the player and he paid a sincere tribute to the supporters of Napoli after raising the curtain on his 12 years in the Italian city.
