The premiere of 'Game of Thrones' season 8 was aired early on DirecTV Now

The last season of HBO's Game of Thrones is one of the most anticipated premieres in television history. The storyline and the plot were closely watched, as actors, directors and the team were forced to sign NDAs to protect the secrets of the season.

Well, DirecTV Now accidentally jumped the gun by releasing the first episode four full hours before the time of the first round of 21 hours. EST Sunday, April 14th. The subscription service is owned by AT & T and includes HBO channels at a premium rate.

No spoilers, but INSIDER has confirmed the episode if it is currently available for streaming.

DirecTV customers now receive a push notification at 5pm. IS telling them that the first episode of season eight was available. Fans have been able to click and play the whole episode, confirmed INSIDER, which has a current broadcast duration with previews of about an hour and five minutes.

People quickly noticed on Twitter and began to share screenshots of the episode to confirm.

We will not include spoilers for the premiere of "Game of Thrones" in this article. DirecTV Now also did not have the title of the first episode, which was called "Ep 1." The full episode will air on HBO at 9pm. IS.
