The transfer of Striker Krzysztof Piatek to AC Milan is anything but official, according to club president Paolo Scaroni.

Many reports have claimed that the Rossoneri have agreed on a 35 million euro contract for the Polish international, with 2-3 million euros of potential additional bonuses.

Sky Italia pretend that there will be no counterparts in the case despite reports that Genoa wanted a player to be included.

Scaroni was invited by a Sportitalia A reporter while he was getting into his car: "Is this over or are we in the air?"

"It's not in the air," replied Scaroni.

"It's not in the air, so we're happy with it," he said. "We are getting there."

This solution also reduces bonuses from 5 to 2-3 million euros.

Piatek is expected to arrive in Milan Tuesday night and undergo a medical exam Wednesday before signing a five-year contract worth 2 million euros per season.

As soon as his arrival is announced, Milan should confirm the departure of Gonzalo Higuain to Chelsea, via Juventus.
