After his death, the youth of Ejura launched a demonstration to demand answers from the authorities. It resulted in a shootout by security guards and the death of two people.
It was in the aftermath of these incidents that many prominent Ghanaians added their voices to calls for the insecurity in the country to be addressed, and Bishop is one of those people who also condemned the manner in which the staff of security attacking citizens.
“What we are saying is that it is such a shame that people who are trained and paid to protect all Ghanaians end up in the name of loyalty to a particular party, the party in government shoots and kills innocent Ghanaians.” , said Naameh. host, Akwasi Aboagye.
“We say this is very unpleasant and does not represent the values of the democracy we are still trying to build. We believe that the Fix Ghana campaign that was going on is a legitimate opinion of any Ghanaian to say that the party we elected government is not doing its best. And especially if it made so many promises that in that time they were going to solve Ghana’s problems. I think it is legitimate for people to stand up and say “you are not doing that. ‘ and it is not a crime. ”
