The Rangers confirmed that Josh McPake, a noted talent, had signed a new contract with the club.
The young starlet won the Rangers Academy Player of the Year award at the end-of-season awards earlier this year and has now pledged her future at the club.
McPake signed the dotted line until the summer of 2022, which means he will remain with the Rangers after his 20th birthday.
Gers' manager, Steven Gerrard, has McPake in and around the group's first team and he's introduced to the senior team during a friendly clash at Ibrox on Sunday.
McPake will now seek to embark on during the summer and continue his development, while he is running for a breakthrough for the first team under Gerrard.
He helped the under-18 Rangers win the Scottish Scottish Youth Cup last season, while he also stood in the reserve, which won the league title.
The winger will wait to see if he stays with the Rangers during the upcoming season or if he will be on loan to save time.
The Rangers are currently sailing in the qualifying rounds of the Europa League.
