The Reserve Bank of India's board of directors convened Monday to finalize its annual accounts, should also take into account the recommendations of the Bimal Jalan Panel on the Economic Capital Framework (ECF) as well as the payment of dividends to the government. , sources said.
The Jalan panel submitted its report to RBI governor Shaktikanta Das on Friday. The report, which recommends the transfer of excess reserves to the government in installments over a period of three to five years according to a predetermined formula, can be posted later on the Central Bank's website.
