Cote de Pablo was born in Chile and moved to the United States.
United when she was 10 years old. She said
Prevention magazine that helped her feel good, even
while she lived in an unknown country:

My country and my friends missed me terribly. But I was raised here. And I found my niche because I went to a high school performing arts. The arts have always interested me, but playing has become even more important as it was a way to communicate with the people of my new country. It was not until I arrived in the United States that I learned to speak English. My friend had the perfect saying, "You have found your tribe". We are not Chileans, Argentineans, Brazilians, or Russians. We are actors.

You might be surprised to learn that de Pablo is doing some of his
own waterfalls. Unfortunately, a NCIS waterfall resulted in a neck injury
It prevented him from exercising for a month. Although she describes the waterfall as
simple, it was risky because she had not repeated it. Here's what
Said Pablo Prevention about what happened when she tried the stunt:

I just went back to the exercise because I hurt my neck while working on the series. So, I was out [of the gym] for about a month. It was a very simple waterfall. I had to say a line, turn around, then there would be explosions, shots, all kinds of things. But we never repeated it, so I did not know what it was going to look like.

When the waterfall started, I was trying to shout my line, because of course, as an actor, you say, "Remember your lines, you only have that". a single pbad because they can not recreate any explosion. ! "But it was like being in the middle of a war zone. We were supposed to be in a big restaurant kitchen and I was hit by a flying cabbage – I still have bruises on my legs. [A few days later] I woke up in horrible neck pain. My mother always said, "You do not think of your teeth until you have a decay." It was the same with my neck. But it's 100% better now. Because of this injury, I go back to yoga.
