This is Alpina's new B5 Biturbo, which makes its public debut at the Goodwood's Moving Motor Show.
The B5 uses an optimized version of BMW's 4.4 liter bi-turbocharged V8 engine, which produces 500 hp and 516 lb-ft of torque. That's enough, says Alpina, for a time of 4.7 s and a top speed of 191 km / h.

Alpina often avoids using the same powertrains as the M-division models, but with a few differences in the intake system, the B5 will face the next choice of M5 engine. Its transmission will be totally different, however; the B5 uses a modified version of the ZF's eight-speed automatic transmission, while the M5 is widely invited to use a dual-clutch unit.
Alpina says the B5 offers first clbad fuel economy and CO2 emissions at 26.1 mpg (combined) and 252 g / km, respectively.
No prices for the car have been announced, but British buyers should expect to pay around £ 70,000 for the car. The first deliveries are expected in the autumn.
