Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson says that a fight scene has been cut off from the next Fast furious spin off Hobbs & Shaw because it was considered too violent.
The film's censors refused to allow it during the film's final release, scheduled for August.

The moment Rock apparently tore off someone's eye with his teeth for a movie was deemed too much for the Hobbs & Shaw release.
Johnson shared a filming sequence in Samoa, where Hobbs & Shaw takes place by saying: "A foretaste of the wildness of HOBBS & SHAW taking place in SAMOA.
"These batons will feature in the film, but unfortunately, the scene where I bit the eye of the villain and spat on the floor did not succeed."

The MPAA (American Cinema Association) was uncomfortable filming the film, which Mens Health reported the release for the PG-13, to give it a wider audience.
