Jussie Smollett's role in "Empire" will be reduced, with the Chicago Police Department investigating the badertion that he was allegedly attacked, according to reports. Smollett, 36, was scheduled to appear in nine scenes and a musical number in future episodes of the series, reported TMZ. But five scenes and the performance would have been cut off from production, according to TMZ. Questions were also raised about the threatening letter that Smollett would have received before being allegedly attacked in Chicago.
