The planning document of Inter and Milan for their new San Siro is over 750 pages, revealed today the city council.
Both clubs want to bring down the current stadium and build a more modern version where the car park is located.
A so-called "technical and economic feasibility study" was submitted to the council today, marking the first official stage of their project.
"The document we have received is extremely long and will therefore require careful badysis by the council and its technicians," the council said in a statement quoted by Ansa.
"Only when this badysis is complete will we be able to judge for the first time."
The mayor of Milan, Giuseppe Sala, opposes the projects of Inter and Milan, especially because San Siro must organize the opening ceremony of the Olympic Winter Games of 2026.
Sala has repeatedly stated that the field could only be touched after the end of the games, but that would mean waiting seven years before starting to work.
The way to go to find a satisfactory agreement for all parties may be very long.
