She said, “We have no fear, but remember that a good Christian must also be a good citizen. We continued to pray for God’s mercy for our nation and the world. Besides, I still mourn the death of my husband.
“The period of mourning is over and, more importantly, when the Lord invites us to begin, we will move quickly in the grace of God. Rest assured that God’s mercy endures and by His grace the SCOAN will emerge stronger, ”said the new leader.
Further commenting on plans to reopen for the church service, a representative from The SCOAN Legal Department, Mr. James Akhigbe said the church will start the service very soon, adding that we are not doing things on the basis of emotions. human.
In his words: “We don’t run The SCOAN business to please people but we get into the project because we have heard about God. We are hopeful that God will give us the green light.
“In the meantime, we can’t say tomorrow because you can’t dictate to the Holy Spirit,” Mr. Akhigbe said.
The church had confirmed Evelyn as the new leader in early September after a Federal High Court in Lagos appointed her chairman of the board.
