Captain Marvel's star, Lashana Lynch, will be "presented under the name 007" in the coming weeks. James Bond movie.
According to reports in The daily mailLynch will be featured at the beginning of the movie as M's 007 in a historic moment that would make Lynch the first woman to play the role of the iconic spy.
The source added that later Daniel Craig's Bond is about to come out of retirement to thwart a "global crisis", although Lynch's role is not yet known.
The move would be due to the intervention of Fleabag creator, Phoebe Waller Bridge, who has been invited to animate the script of the upcoming film, still known as Bond 25.
Speaking of his role in the film in a podcast for The Hollywood Reporter 's Price Chatter, Waller-Bridge, revealed that she had worked so that the female characters in the film "feel like real people". According to Baz Bamigboye of the Daily Mail, Waltz is currently shooting scenes at Pinewood, considered the spiritual home of the iconic franchise in the UK.
Bamigboye wrote on Twitter: "When a visitor spotted him, Waltz insisted," You did not see me. "
The shoot is currently back after the foot injury suffered by Daniel Craig during a shoot in Jamaica, putting an end to production as the actor was recovering from an operation.
