The state extends the warning regarding exposure to the restaurant of hepatitis A

Authorities have significantly expanded a warning regarding possible exposure to hepatitis A-related restoration in northern Delaware.

Officials said Thursday that employees and customers of a Buffalo Wild Wings restaurant in Middletown may have been exposed to the virus between March 31 and April 10.

Late Friday, officials announced that people were also exposed to hepatitis A at Buffalo Wild Wings in Bear from March 21st to Friday and Stone Balloon Ale House in Newark from March 20th to April 3rd.

Citing "new information," they also said that the possible exposure period to the Middletown Buffalo Wild Wings began March 28, three days ahead of schedule.

Hepatitis A is a viral infection of the liver transmitted by the feces of an infected person.
