The 20-foot Statue Commission of Ghana's Ministry of Defense and Armed Forces is located at the Airport Hills roundabout.

Major Mahama, a member of the 5th Infantry Regiment of the Armed Forces of Ghana, met his sad and unhappy fate while he was serving in the region.
