The Stobart Group is focusing on increasing the capacity of London Southend Airport

Sales rose 39% to £ 146.9m and operating income (EBITDA) for the two largest operating divisions – aviation and energy – jumped 75% to £ 24.1m

The company is focusing on increasing the capacity of the airport after the sale of its regional airline, Stobart Air, and its aircraft leasing business, Propius, to Connect Airways, the joint venture created with Virgin Atlantic and Cyrus Capital.
