The suspects in the assassination of JB Danquah Adu must be judged

The Accra Central District Court sentenced Daniel Asiedu and Vincent Bosso, the two men linked to the murder of a former Deputy of North Abuakwa, MJ B Danquah-Adu, to a lawsuit before the High Court.

This is the second time that both judges will be judged by the High Court. On May 29, 2017, the Attorney General filed a Prosequi Nose to end the first trial.

On Wednesday, during the referral process, the prosecutor, Ms. Sefakor Batse, senior prosecutor, charged Asiedu and Bosso with conspiracy to commit theft, while Asiedu was charged with murder and theft.

Ms. Batse informed the court that the state would call 11 witnesses and also rely on 29 exhibits to prove its merits at the trial.

Presenting the facts of the case, Ms. Batse stated that Asiedu and Bosso intended to embark on a series of robberies, but that due to a misunderstanding, Bosso no Did not take part in the act.

According to her, Asiedu went to the MP's home on 9 February 2016 around 1am and stole her three cell phones.

She added that Asiedu had stabbed Mr. Danquah-Adu in the process leading up to his death.

She added that Asiedu had handed over two phones to a repairman, but he had seen blood stains on the phone and reported the case to the police.
