Daniel Vincent Daniel Asiedu and Vincent Bosso escorted out of court premises after incarceration

The Accra Central District Court sentenced Daniel Asiedu and Vincent Bosso, the two men linked to the murder of a former North Abuakwa deputy, JB Danquah-Adu, to his trial before the High Court.

This is the second time that both judges will be judged by the High Court. On May 29, 2017, the Attorney General filed a Prosequi Nose to end the first trial.

During the referral process on Wednesday, the prosecutor, Sefakor Batse, senior prosecutor, accused Asiedu and Bosso of conspiracy to commit a robbery, while Asiedu was accused of murder and theft.

Ms. Batse informed the court that the state would call 11 witnesses and also rely on 29 exhibits to prove its merits at the trial.

Presenting the facts of the case, Ms. Batse stated that Asiedu and Bosso intended to embark on a series of robberies, but that due to a misunderstanding, Bosso no Did not take part in the act.

According to her, Asiedu went to the MP's home on 9 February 2016 around 1am and stole her three cell phones.

She added that Asiedu had stabbed Mr. Danquah-Adu in the process leading up to his death.

She added that Asiedu had handed over two phones to a repairman, but that he had seen bloodstains on the phone and reported the case to the police.
