Taxify, Europe's leading on-demand transport platform, has changed its name and now calls itself Bolt and has launched a new logo.

This update adapts the brand's identity to the broader vision of the company's transportation sector, which has moved from simple hikes to cars, motorcycles and scooters.

Markus Villig, CEO and co-founder of Bolt, said: "Taxify was launched five years ago to make urban transportation more convenient and affordable.Our first product was a taxi management solution that gave the company its original name ".

It was also the first company to consolidate its activities into a single application and is currently working to extend the scooter sharing service in several European cities.

West Africa Regional Manager at Bolt, Uche Okafor, revealed that Taxify had lost its name and that the need to change the name was necessary in order not to limit the services provided by the platform. form.
