Up to six of the first 15 Manchester City jersey numbers could be available for new recruits this summer.

Mahrez could have his choice of numbers when he was exchanging Leicester against Etihad.
Scott Sinclair was the last holder of the No. 12 jersey on his departure in 2015, while the departures of Nolito, Samir Nasri and Willy Caballero last summer released respectively 9, 11 and 13.
Alternatively, the Algerian could keep the number 26 that he has brought to Leicester for the last four seasons because it is also free. Benjamin Mendy occupies the shirt of 22 that Mahrez was wearing in Le Havre.
City could enter the market for another striker if a branded player like Kylian Mbappe became available. However, it seems likely that the club could enter a third season in four years without a number 9.
The pairing of Sergio Aguero with another center forward proved difficult, and after a promising start in 2013 Alvaro Negredo's form quickly disappeared. Nolito has only lasted one season before returning to Sevilla, while Gabriel Jesus – Brazil's number 9 at the World Cup – prefers to wear number 33.
More numbers could be released by departures this summer; the jerseys of Eliaquim Mangala (15), Patrick Roberts (27), Jason Denayer (28) and Aleks Zinchenko (35) will all be available if these players eventually leave the Etihad.
There is also the possibility that the current team Members could skip the list and take a new number.
