Sergio Aguero scored a second hat trick in three games. Manchester City beat Chelsea 6-0 to place themselves above Liverpool and rank first in the Premier League standings.
Tottenham is kept in the title race by defeating Leicester 3-1 and Liverpool by beating Bournemouth 3-0 while his Merseyside rival, Everton, was losing for the third time in a row. tilting 1-0 at Watford.
Arsenal beat Huddersfield 2-1 in the Champions League race. Manchester United scored 25 points out of a possible 27 with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, beating Fulham 3-0.
Cardiff's 2-1 victory in Southampton seems huge in the relegation battle and Burnley's 3-1 victory in Brighton did not hurt them by restoring the last three.
Crystal Palace, meanwhile, will wonder how they did not take three points after getting 25 shots in a 1-1 draw against West Ham.
It was a thrilling weekend – but which players earned a spot on my team?
Goalkeeper – Tom Heaton (Burnley)
Heaton's backup of Solly Mars in Brighton was not bad, but that of Pascal Gross was first clbad. However, it was the second time since March that I thought I was world clbad and destroyed any chance to see Brighton come back in this game.
Heaton is back between the sticks and looks gorgeous. If he continues to play this way, Joe Hart would be better off looking for another club.
Did you know? Tom Heaton has saved 80% of the shots he has faced in the Premier League this season – a higher percentage than his team mate Joe Hart (65%).
Defenders – Chris Smalling (Manchester United), Sol Bamba (Cardiff), Andrew Robertson (Liverpool)
Andy Robertson: I love watching this kid play. Apart from everything, he has nerves of steel. The ball for which he played for Georginio Wijnaldum was simply magnificent, and the volley from the side of the foot when Sadio Mane should have scored was sensational.
There is nothing more frustrating for an attacker than a right-back who offers nothing for the future and I played with enough information to find out. Robertson is the dream of an attacker and the best I have seen since Ashley Cole.
Did you know? Since his debut in Liverpool in August 2017, Robertson has scored more goals in the Premier League (11) than any other defenseman.
Sol Bamba: They would have danced in the streets of Abidjan when Sol Bamba scored Cardiff's first goal in their 2-1 win at Southampton.
The goals of the Ivorian international give hope to Cardiff and his form bodes well for his national team. Since Kolo Toure stormed the Premier League, a young Ivorian defender alongside Arsenal has seen such a powerful player in attack and also authoritarian in defense. A chef if I ever saw him.
Did you know? Sol Bamba made 26 blocks in the Premier League this season; the best of any player for the city of Cardiff.
Chris Smalling: I do not think I have seen anyone play with Aleksandar Mitrovic so effectively all season. Chris Smalling never kicked him.
I look at the Serbian bully and manipulate the defenders for years, but Smalling had none. Not bad for a player who struggles to keep a regular spot in the Manchester United team.
Did you know? Chris Smalling has won more aerial duels than any other Manchester United defender in the Premier League (59).
Midfielders – Georginio Wijnaldum (Liverpool), Paul Pogba (Man Utd), Christian Eriksen (Tottenham), Raheem Sterling (Man City)
Georginio Wijnaldum: The disease and diarrhea can invade a club like wildfire. So, imagine one of your star players suffering from these symptoms. The panic then follows!
This is not the case of Liverpool and Georginio Wijnaldum. The Dutch international insisted that he could play and produced an outstanding performance against a Bournemouth team outclbaded end to end.
Did you know? Since the start of last season, Liverpool has won 66% of Premier League matches in which Wijnaldum has appeared, compared to 50% when he has not done so yet.
Paul Pogba: The victory at Fulham was a walk in the park for Manchester United and Paul Pogba.
The French midfielder scored two goals and spent most of the match wandering around Craven Cottage as if he were the lord of the manor.
He then left the field after 74 minutes, likely to save his legs before United's game in the Champions League against Paris St-Germain, under the sign of a standing ovation. The hard truth for Fulham is that United seemed to be in a different league. If Fulham continues to play like that, they will be very soon.
Did you know? Some 36% of Paul Pogba's goals in the Premier League for Manchester United have been scored in nine matches under the command of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer (8/22).
Christian Eriksen: It was one of the worst Spurs performances I've seen – but they could finish and Leicester could not.
If Harvey Barnes had a bit of composure in front of goal, he would be dangerous. Conversely, Christian Eriksen looked airy and shined like a rough diamond.
The fact that Claude Puel keeps Jamie Vardy on the Leicester bench when it is obvious that he is the best striker of the club is ridiculous.
Whatever the problems between the manager and the player, they must be solved. This nonsense kills the team.
Did you know? Christian Eriksen has scored 20 goals in the Premier League out of the box, more than any other player since his debut in September 2013.
Raheem Sterling: Originally, I had chosen Bernardo Silva on my team to produce another outstanding performance against Chelsea. But when Sterling scored his second goal, after making the first goal of Sergio Aguero, I found myself in front of the English international.
Sterling scored goals he would have missed two seasons ago, reflecting his enormous development under Pep Guardiola. As for Chelsea, it is quite scandalous to beat the first club 6-0 in the Premier League standings. What's happening at Stamford Bridge?
Did you know? Raheem Sterling (21) is one of four players to have been directly involved – scoring or badisting – in more than 20 goals in the Premier League this season, alongside Mohamed Salah (24), Sergio Aguero (23). years) and Eden Hazard (22). ).
Forwards – Roberto Firmino (Liverpool), Sergio Aguero (Man City), Anthony Martial (Man Utd)
Roberto Firmino: I could have chosen any of the "red arrows" against Bournemouth. Mohamed Salah, Sadio Mane and Roberto Firmino were all beautiful and could have formed my team.
I went to get Firmino because, without him, the team does not work quite the same way. He plays Liverpool in the same way as Luis Suarez and Philippe Coutinho. I also chose it just to prove (as the rumor has it) that you do not have to score goals to be part of my team.
Did you know? Since the start of the 2015-16 season, Roberto Firmino has been directly involved in more goals in the Premier League than any other Liverpool player (70 overall – 45 goals, 25 badists).
Sergio Aguero: I would have liked to be able to select Burnley's Chris Wood for his performance against Brighton as he deserved to be recognized. However, when you have Sergio Aguero in this form, you ask me to do the impossible.
Did you know? In Chelsea's defeat, Aguero scored his 11th round of the Premier League hat, equaling the record set by Alan Shearer.
Anthony Martial: His goal at Fulham was simply superb. He pbaded Denis Odoi of Fulham and Maxime the Merchant as if they were not there.
The French international then calmly pbaded the ball past Sergio Rico in the back of the net to give United the fourth place in the table. The total resurgence of United must be killing Jose Mourinho.
Did you know? Martial has now been directly involved in 50 goals in the Premier League (33 goals, 17 badists), more than any other Manchester United player since his debut in September 2015.
Now it's your turn

The crooks of the material
I was absolutely delighted to learn that West Ham decided to honor his former captain, Billy Bonds, by renaming the rostrum after the record holder. Bonds was one of the first high-level defensemen I ever met as a dark-eyed 18-year-old who was trying to make his way through the game.
Playing at Upton Park was a great experience at that time, especially for a black player. Despite all the barbed remarks coming from the terraces, Bonds would never engage in gross abuse, unlike some players of this generation. I have been immensely impressed and I have never lost my respect for this man.
It was the same for Trevor Brooking, who, I am convinced, is at the origin of this magnificent accolade. He was always too polite for words and a gentleman on and off the pitch. So what made these two boys from the East End who made them so hospitable to strangers? Who can say? Perhaps it was simply due to their sense of common decency.
Co-chairs David Gold and David Sullivan have been terribly wrong since joining the club. Bond embodied the heart and soul of the club. It looks like they've finally got something good.
