The series of AMC anthologies is looking at the J-horror this season.
On "The Terror: Infamy", Chester Nakayama (Derek Mio) has big dreams of becoming a photographer, but his latest photos are rather funny, as can be seen below. AMC has released Friday at Comic-Con a brand new trailer that fits in the horror of J that is inherent in the mystery of this season.
During its first season, the series of anthologies investigated what happened to Captain Franklin's famous lost expedition, during which the 129 men aboard two Royal Navy ships were lost after become icebound in search of the Northwest Pbadage. This season takes place during the Second World War, especially during the internment of Americans of Japanese descent following the Pearl Harbor attack.
Chester Nakayama lives in Terminal Island when the government and its mysterious presence that upset the community upset his life. The trailer mentions terms such as "yurei" – figures of Japanese folklore that look like ghosts – and "bakemono", vaguely translated as a shapeshifter.
The series also features Kiki Sukezane ("Westworld", "Heroes: Reborn"), Cristina Rodlo "(Miss Bala"), Shingo Usami ("Unbroken"), Naoko Mori ("Everest") and Miki Ishikawa ("9 – 1-1 "). The famous actor, producer, author and activist George Takei ("Star Trek") appears as a former community called Yamamoto-San and also plays the role of consultant for the series. As a young boy, Takei was forced into a concentration camp with his family.
It seems that the horrors committed by men are perhaps equal to those of the supernatural world.

"The Terror: Infamy" will be presented on Monday, August 12th at 9pm. AND on AMC.
