The Toronto Raptors won the first-ever NBA Finals in franchise history by overcoming a 15-point deficit to defeat the Milwaukee Bucks by a final score of 100-94. The Raptors are the 21st NBA history team to win a best-of-seven series after a 2-0 loss and the first to do so since the Cleveland Cavaliers defeated the Boston Celtics in the final of the Eastern Conference 2018. Kawhi Leonard dominated all scorers with 27 points (9-22 FG), 17 career rebounds and 17 badists for the Raptors. Leonard is the first player with points, rebounds and badists in a decisive playoff victory since Michael Jordan (38 points, 19 rebounds, 7 badists) in the 1991 Eastern Conference semifinal against the 76ers. The Raptors will face the Golden State Warriors in the 2019 NBA finals presented by YouTubeTV, the first match taking place in Toronto on Thursday, May 30 at 9:00 pm (Eastern Time) on ABC.
