The TOUR Championship posted on social media: “Hey, @AdamSandler, if that gets any 10k retweets, will you come and play 18 hole with us at the end of August? We are very proud to have you as the winner of the 1996 TOUR Championship. ”
Fans rose to the challenge, sending the message above the 10,000 mark in just nine hours. Two-time FedExCup champion Rory McIlroy upped the ante with a quote tweet: “Meet at 9th green at 9am.
