Good – the first trailer of Season 2 has arrived and offers our first look at what the next series of episodes has in store. Villanelle (Jodie Comer) and Eve (Sandra Oh) are both back – and it seems that the roles of hunter and hunted could be reversed while their mutual obsession continues.
First of all, accessories to those who chose Addicted To Love as a companion song to the trailer. Second, the decision to publish this teaser on Valentine's Day. Third, have you seen Villanelle's pajamas? Although there is no explicit plot here, it still teases everything that made the first season so enjoyable: complex characterization, quick wit, and breathtaking fashion like Comer.
The new season starts on the US screens on April 7, which is really not so far away, but the bad news for UK viewers is that since it's an original BBC America movie, we could wait a bit. Season 1 was launched in the UK last September, five months after its debut in the United States. Hoping we do not end up with such a gap for new episodes.
