The new trailer of Missing link, the latest film from the Laika stop-motion animation studio, shows more of the carefully crafted world and the characters it contains.
Missing link follows a monster investigator named Sir Lionel Frost (Hugh Jackman), who discovers a legendary creature as he ventures into the Pacific Northwest. The Bigfoot-esque monster, who travels not only by Mr. Link (Zach Galifianakis) but also by Susan, is quite lonely and wants to find his missing relatives. Alongside Adelina Quinzaine (Zoe Saldana), a casual adventurer, the trio travels around the world. Emma Thompson, Timothy Olyphant and Stephen Fry play unspecified roles.
Laika is the animation studio behind Coraline, ParaNorman, and Kubo and the two strings. Missing link This will be the fifth feature film of the studio. With 110 sets and 65 unique venues, it will be Laika's biggest film to date.
Missing link is in the theater from April 12th.
